Earls Court 2.
PAL, (
Mars, Masterfoods) ran its Scruffts event, now in it's fourth year, in association with the Kennel Club, (
KC), whose judges advised TV personality Keith Chegwin, who had the job of choosing the winner at the final.

Buffy, a two year-old Bichon Frise/Border Collie cross was crowned the PAL Scruffts Family Crossbreed of the Year Champion 2004 on Sunday.
Sally Shaw, from PAL, commented:
"PAL Scruffts has raised an enormous amount of money for charity as well as being really popular with crossbreed dog-lovers all over the country. We're proud to be able to offer a non-breed competition, as it gives cross breed dogs and their owners the chance to compete in a professional competition event."
Business was also brisk at the trade stands, as visitors began their Christmas shopping, buying up collars and leads and the latest accessories.
